Drunk Volkswagen driver in crash with two other vehicles on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda road
On Monday, 17 July 2017, in the evening at 17:47, in Pagėgių municipality, Lumpėnų village, on Rambyno street near No. 1, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat, a Volkswagen Passat and a KTM. One person died — the 35-year-old driver of the KTM. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance.
