On Friday, 25 August 2017, in the evening at 21:30, in Raseinių district municipality, Viduklės town, on Kęstučio street near No. 16, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo XC90, an Opel Astra and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
