On Friday, 1 September 2017, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. near No. 49, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xsara Picasso and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Citroen. He had no driving licence.
