On Tuesday, 5 September 2017, in the afternoon at 15:50, in Kauno district municipality, Lukšakaimio village, a Ford Maverick hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Ford (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.14‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
