Unlicensed Daelim moped driver in crash with Opel in Bukonių village
On Monday, 25 September 2017, in the evening at 20:04, in Jonavos district municipality, Bukonių village, on Ukmergės street, at the junction with Parko street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Daelim and an Opel Vectra. Two people were injured — the 13-year-old driver of the Daelim (treated as an outpatient) and a 12-year-old passenger of the Daelim (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 13-year-old driver of the Daelim, who violated warning-signal usage rules. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
