On Saturday, 14 October 2017, in the evening at 19:29, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Skaistgiriai–Pušalotas regional road (kilometre 16.97), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a BMW 7ER Reihe. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who violated overtaking rules. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
