On Sunday, 15 October 2017, in the afternoon at 16:52, in Tauragės district municipality, Tamošaičių village, on the local road, a Rover 214 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Rover, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
