On Sunday, 29 October 2017, in the morning at 7:30, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Šalčininkai–Ūta–Mikantonys regional road (kilometre 1.04), a Nissan X-Trail rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Nissan (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.68‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
