Unlicensed Citroen driver and two other cars crash at Laisvės avenue and Justiniškių street, Vilnius
On Saturday, 4 November 2017, in the evening at 17:11, in Vilnius, on Laisvės avenue, at the junction with Justiniškių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Citroen C5, a Toyota Auris and a Mercedes-Benz E 220 CDI. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
