On Friday, 10 November 2017, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kauno district municipality, Kuro village, on Narcizų street near No. 14, an Opel Vectra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 69-year-old driver of the Opel (30 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.76‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
