On Sunday, 12 November 2017, in the evening at 18:07, in Telšių district municipality, Gintalų village, on Pūčkorių street near No. 14, a Volvo registered in Russia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Volvo (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
