On Monday, 13 November 2017, in the morning at 8:38, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Gruzdžiai–Naujoji Akmenė national road (kilometre 28.88), a Ford Galaxy rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Ford (22 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.34‰ blood alcohol).
