On Wednesday, 15 November 2017, in the evening at 17:39, in Klaipėda, on Liepų street, at the junction with Šiaurės pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FL240 and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Volvo (27 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
