On Monday, 4 December 2017, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Plungės district municipality, Varkalių village, on Žemaičių street near No. 7, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Neoplan N 4007 and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Neoplan (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
