On Tuesday, 5 December 2017, in the evening at 19:35, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 255, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler 300C and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Chrysler (40 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
