On Thursday, 7 December 2017, in the morning at 10:01, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Kėdainiai–Šėta–Ukmergė national road (kilometre 38), a Neoplan N 116 rolled over. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Neoplan (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident there was freezing rain, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
