On Friday, 8 December 2017, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street near No. 148B, a VAN Hool T 815 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the VAN Hool (44 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
