On Saturday, 9 December 2017, in the morning at 8:18, in Biržų district municipality, Kirdonėlių village, on Žalgirio street, a Land Rover Discovery rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Land Rover, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
