On Monday, 11 December 2017, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Prienų district municipality, Vazgaikiemio village, on the Kaunas–Prienai–Alytus national road (kilometre 42.10), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Opel Corsa and an Audi A3 WAHLW. Audi S3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Opel (20 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk.
