On Saturday, 16 December 2017, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Klaipėda, on Naujakiemio street near No. 13, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and a Honda Accord. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Audi (19 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
