On Sunday, 24 December 2017, at night at 0:50, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 38), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Sharan and a Koegel SN 24. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to give way when changing direction. She was drunk (1.78‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
