On Monday, 25 December 2017, in the evening at 18:31, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Čekonys–Debeikiai–Žalioji regional road (kilometre 3), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Volkswagen Polo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
