On Monday, 1 January 2018, in the evening at 19:10, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Ariogala–Raseiniai–Kryžkalnis national road (kilometre 19.45), a Ford Mondeo rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Ford, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.55‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
