On Saturday, 6 January 2018, in the evening at around 20:00, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. near No. 49, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Octavia, a Volkswagen Passat and a Hyundai ix35. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Skoda (23 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
