On Friday, 19 January 2018, in the afternoon at 14:58, in Kelmės district municipality, on the Verpena–Šalteniai–Ramučiai regional road (kilometre 2.10), a DAF FAR 95XF.430 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 64-year-old driver of the DAF (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
