On Wednesday, 24 January 2018, in the evening at 21:38, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Ariogala–Betygala–Šiluva regional road (kilometre 16.35), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and an Audi A4 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Audi 80, who entered the oncoming traffic lane.
