On Monday, 29 January 2018, in the evening at 18:20, in Druskininkų municipality, on Neravų street, at the junction with Veisiejų street, a BMW 320 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
