On Monday, 19 February 2018, in the morning at around 5:00, in Telšių district municipality, on the Telšiai–Lieplaukė–Plungė regional road (kilometre 3), a Chrysler PT Cruiser ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Chrysler (14 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was snowing, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
