On Wednesday, 21 February 2018, in the evening at 17:09, in Kaunas, on Skuodo street, at the junction with L. Ivinskio street, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved an Audi 80, a Peugeot 406 and a Mazda 626. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
