On Wednesday, 28 February 2018, in the evening at 22:10, in Anykščių district municipality, Sausalaukės village, on the Kupiškis–Utena national road (kilometre 29), a Volvo FH12.420 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volvo (4 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
