On Thursday, 1 March 2018, at night at around 23:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 107), a Toyota Corolla ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Toyota (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
