On Monday, 5 March 2018, in the afternoon at 15:40, in Kaunas, on Neveronių g. (ties Karjerų g. 5 namu) street, an Audi A6 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 61-year-old pedestrian, who committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc.. She fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
