On Thursday, 8 March 2018, in the evening at 22:23, in Kupiškio district municipality, on the Daugpilis–Rokiškis–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 59.70), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Carisma and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident.
