On Sunday, 11 March 2018, in the morning at around 8:00, in Molėtų district municipality, Stacijavos village, on the Molėtai–Stacijava–Smėlinka regional road (kilometre 1.82), a Mercedes-Benz Vito 115 CDI hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
