On Saturday, 7 April 2018, in the afternoon at 16:25, in Marijampolės municipality, Tautkaičių village, in a roadworks zone, a JCB hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the JCB, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.63‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
