On Saturday, 7 April 2018, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kelmės district municipality, on the Verpena–Šalteniai–Ramučiai regional road (kilometre 3.65), a Citroen Xsara Picasso rolled over. Two people were injured — the 45-year-old driver of the Citroen (hospitalized) and a 10-year-old passenger of the Citroen (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Citroen (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
