On Sunday, 8 April 2018, in the afternoon at 14:35, in Kaunas, on Raudondvario pl., at the junction with Antagynės street, a Gazelle ran off the road. The collision involved a KTM, a Pegasus, a LTD and the Gazelle. One person was injured — a 30-year-old cyclist (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the KTM, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.16‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
