On Tuesday, 17 April 2018, at night at 0:41, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 84.68), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Volvo (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
