On Friday, 27 April 2018, in the evening at 17:30, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 47.11), an Iveco Stralis hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Iveco (22 years of driving experience), who failed to comply with road signs or markings.
