On Saturday, 28 April 2018, at night at around 23:00, in Rokiškio district municipality, on the Vytėnai–Buniškiai–Pakriaunys regional road (kilometre 4.38), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D registered in Great Britain and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
