On Friday, 11 May 2018, in the evening at 19:10, in Kaunas, on Baltų pr. near No. 22, on a bridge, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Nissan X-Trail and a Skoda Superb. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Nissan (18 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
