On Sunday, 13 May 2018, in the evening at 20:40, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Trakai–Padvarionys–Semeliškės regional road (kilometre 13), a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a Mosca Rapido and a Skoda Octavia. Two people were injured — the 33-year-old driver of the Mosca (hospitalized) and a 52-year-old passenger of the Mosca (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Mosca, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
