Drunk Seat Cordoba Vario driver runs off the road on the Vilnius–Utena road
On Sunday, 20 May 2018, in the evening at 20:50, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Utena main road (kilometre 50), a Seat Cordoba Vario ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Seat (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.97‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
