Drunk Toyota driver in crash with two other cars on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas road
On Monday, 21 May 2018, in the evening at 19:04, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 30), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Avensis, an Iveco and an Audi A2. Two people were injured — the 34-year-old driver of the Audi (treated as an outpatient) and the 27-year-old driver of the Iveco (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Toyota (16 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. She was drunk (1.84‰ blood alcohol).
