On Sunday, 27 May 2018, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kauno district municipality, Cinkiškių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 129), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Setra S 317 and a Volkswagen Transporter registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Setra (38 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
