On Thursday, 31 May 2018, in the evening at 19:20, in Prienų district municipality, on F. Martišiaus street, a Toyota Yaris hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.85‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
