On Sunday, 10 June 2018, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Vilniaus district municipality, Rudaminos village, on Vilniaus street near No. 50, a Fiat Ducato hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 58-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Fiat (29 years of driving experience), who fell asleep at the wheel. The driver was sober. A 58-year-old pedestrian was drunk (1.67‰).
