On Thursday, 14 June 2018, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Šilutės district municipality, on Darbininkų street, at the junction with E. Kanto street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a bicycle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
