On Saturday, 23 June 2018, in the morning at around 8:00, in Zarasų district municipality, Antalieptės town, on A. Žilėno street, a BMW 530 D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
