On Saturday, 23 June 2018, in the evening at 19:45, in Jonavos district municipality, Praulių village, on Saulės street near No. 24, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
